Ignition upgrade ????

Okay folks, I need some ideas around upgrading the ignition on my 94 5.0 (F150) w/maf. I'm getting ready to rebuild and trying to gather info. Mild build on this motor is planed. Any ideas are welcome.

To tell the truth, I wouldn't mess with it. All you'll do with higher voltage coils is wear out spark plugs and plug wires (and possibly other stuff, I dont know what all is on a '94). As long as you've got the plugs gapped right, all the plug wires tight, and dielectric grease used in the appropriate places it's fine. The stock system is just fine, Ford wants it to be good since it will improve fuel economy. I believe it'd be hard to improve upon.

Rusty is right, the factory ignition is good. The only reason you would need an upgrade or realize any benifit from one is if you are running NOS or forced induction.
