I can't contain my excitement, so I thought I'd share....
After over a year of research, money saving, and drooling over YOUR trucks, I've finally ordered my own! It's a 2005 Lariat SCREW 4x4, Monochrome black 3.73LS, Blk Leather Cpt Chair, DVD, Tow pkg, Reverse sensing, audiophile, etc.
Dealership placed my order on 8/9 (I got it for invoice!) and I already have a VIN. Kansas City plant starts building Sept 7, so I'm hoping I get it in late Oct. I'm sure the last two months of waiting will be the hardest!
First mods to go on will be the Daystar kit and Eagle 178's with Nitto Terra Grappler 325/60/18.
This forum has been invaluable in my research - thanks FTE folks for making my purchase a little easier!
Congratulations, I ordered mine too and took delivery April 2nd. It replaced a 1985 f-150. These truck are all they're rated and raved about. After 7600 miles I'm still shocked at its ride-comfort-everything. Fatman66 is right, take the day off and drive around. Good luck and take some pictures right away.
