I need to rebuild the NP205 behind the C6 in my '79 F-350. I'm having trouble locating a good source for a kit that supplies all of the small parts, bushings, gaskets, seals, and bearings. I especially want to make sure I get good quality (Timken) bearings. Thanks.

Does it need bearings? They are pretty stout, and the bearings usually hold up pretty good. I cut my own gaskets from gasket paper, and bought the seals from the auto parts store. It cost me around $30 for it all. Like I said, though, I didn't replace the bearings. That would significantly add to the cost. Ted

 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it needs bearings. The output shaft is loose.
