Net Power Gain?

I plan on putting the 265DEH cam from compcams. Along with that roller rockers and the hydrualic lifters and a new timing chain. Its a 351m in a 79 4wd truck. I was just wondering how much horsepower I'll get out of this setup or is there a better one. How hard an install is all this. Could it be done on a weekend?

that cam will probably gain you enough hp that you will notice it, I have no idea how you use your truck but that is a decent all around cam that works good in the mid range. as far as hp increase can't really give much of a guess, the roller rockers probably won't make a noticable difference to you but are nice, and as far as how hard of an install, if you have to ask it might take you all weekend but should be able to be done in one weekend, I can do a cam change in about 3hrs but I have had lots of practice plus I used to work in a dealership were you were paid on flat rate, and don't have to look at a book, but if you are reasonably mechanically inclined, and have a good book then I bet you could get it done in one afternoon

what book would you recommend. I have a haynes manual but it sucks. Would the Chilton book be a better choice.
