Fuel injector cleaner.

I'm a woman so cut me some slack Guys.

Is it safe to put fuel injector cleaner in my 1996 explorer?

It can't hurt, especially on a '96 (how many miles do you have on her?). Just make sure to use a good brand - Chevron is one I've used before with decent results. You may have to treat more than once before you notice a difference.

I have 130,000 on her she has been very good to me... I had to change the massflow sensor but over all i'm thankful.

BG 44K is quite good. I use it twice a year in my other vehicles. ABout $20 a can. Don't get it onthe paint, or if you do, clean it immediately.
