UPDATE: Valve stems pulling out!
Ok, guys,Just want to update you guys on my situation with the stems pulling out. I took the heads off this morning. It appears that ALL the exhaust valves are hitting the pistons, which tells me either the cam is not right or its a timing problem. I'm going have the valves gone through to make sure there is no bent valves, etc. I also pulled the timing cover again. (pain in the you know what). I think the culprit might be the gear drive I put in. The cam gear has three markings on it. One is normal, advanced timing and retard timing. The directions are horrible to which way it goes. Looking at it again, I think the gear may not have been put on correctly and it's causing the cam and valve timing to be thrown off. My buddy is going to confirm it tonight. I compare the holes with the stock chain and if I'm correct that's the problem. Anyways, I'll be posting what happens. Maybe this way, it won't happen to anyone else. LOL.....
