I was just scanning through ALL these messages and will put in my .02. While I think these trucks are too new for this problem, my 93 F-250 started having engine temp problems overnight. The culprit was the fan clutch. Even on my 00, it doesn't growl like the new one did, so I think they can be deceptive. If the rad flush/water pump don't fix it, try the fan clutch.
