91 Explorer 4.0
My engine lifters started making more noise than I trusted, so I had them replaced. I still have some clicking noise at lower RPM (under 1500).
What is the next "layer of moving metal" do I need to replace?
The engine is a 4.0 with about 170,000 miles.
