stereo wiring help
I know this is slightly off topic, but does anyone know where I can find a wire color key for an 89 taurus? I pulled the steroes on the older ranger and aerostar I have around and it didn't offer any clues. What I have is someone cut the harnesses to install an aftermarket. I'm trying to put replacement harnesses back so I can plug in a factory radio.

Not exactly.
The basic AM/FM Cassette factory Ford radios from the mid 80s to mid 90s were the same plug ins. The bolt on clips, slides & stuff were different to suit the model it went into.
Check your other Fords wiring plugs for colour codes & see if you find the same ones in the Taurus.
