Paint on liftback

I have a 95 Explorer and have noticed (for a long time now) that the paint on the top lip of the liftback has been worn down to the base. Have other folks noticed the same problem on their Explorers??

If your refering to the black painted portion of the liftgate, I've seen this on other poorly kept explorers. At least the corrosion protection in this area of the car prevents the metal from rusting. This can be fixed with a spray can of flat black enamel.

Nope. I'm talking about the leading edge of the roof part of the liftback. It appears the wind wore away the paint all along that top edge.

My 1992 did the same. I went to the dealer & got a small bottle of paint (like nail polish size) & touched it up with 2 coats. Can Hardley notice it now unless you are 6' 7" tall (hahaha).
