Wisconsin Chapter Meeting
Ok I have some time and would like for as many of us to get together. I have found a place (past experience with MX) where we all or at least some of us could meet. It is somewhat centrally located in the state (WIS Rapids) and besides being a park like atmosphere also offers ATV and motorcycle trails. It is very sandy. Ok lets get this thing going.
Date; Septemeber 18th or 19th? Does not matter for me but Sundays are usually easier for most. I tried to pick a date far enough in advance to allow everyone to adjust their schedules. Lets try and keep this date. Weather should be fall like and if its raining there is a shelter.
BYO everything you want. I hope we could be there late morning, do some talking,BBQing,bench racing and for those of you that have ATVs get in some riding. There is a $10 charge for riding, sorry but it does help maintain the place. The park is free for everyone to enter.
Even if your truck is not driveable at that time or for some reason you'd prefer to drive something more economical go for it. We all understand the cost of driving these gas guzzling trucks for long distances.
The park does have a web address; www.rapidangels.com/index.htm Check it out and let me know what you think. We have talked and talked about it and I feel we should get it going.
Maybe some of you from the same area can get together and caravan there. The directions which are simple, to get there are listed on the site.
Any suggestions, please feel free to mention them. The date might not work for everyone, in fact I might be the only one there, and if that is the case we can change the date to make it work for more to attend.
If we all can enjoy each others company perhaps this will grow into something that becomes a regular event. I look forward to seeing as many as possible.
