Gift certificate and overhead storage system from Ford

Anybody receive the free Interstate overhead storage package and gift certificate from Ford yet? I've had my truck for about 3 weeks and wondered when it might arrive.

I have no idea how I got that thing sent to me in the mail, but received the coupon about 4 days before making the purchase. I sent it away about a week ago. I went with Cabela's. I'll bet it takes a month or two.

How does one qualify for this gift certificate?

Got mine today!! It came with 2 storage bins just like the one that came stock. There is a Black and Decker 75 watt AC inverter in it's own case that fits into the bin, a CD case that has a "F-150" emblem on it and a cell phone and PDA storage sleeve. Not sure why you would want to put your cell phone in the overhead storage bin but what the heck, it was free..... Also got a $250 Milwaukee tools gift certificate and a small catalog with tools to choose from.

The form for this offer was mailed to me by the dealer that I bought my '97 F-150 from. I guess it's an incentive to buy a new truck (it worked, huh?) except that I bought the truck from a dealer that had the exact truck I wanted on the lot rather than the one that I bought my '97 from. I showed the form to the dealer and he said it was good at any dealer, not just the one that had it mailed to me. They had to fill out some dealer information along with the VIN and sign it to make it valid. The dealer even mailed it in for me.

I tried to use this certificate when I bought my truck 7/28/04, but couldn't because I bought the truck using the X-plan. The certificate specifically states that it cannot be used with the X-plan and other plans, bummer!!!

I see a lot of questions but no real answers but here goes; Do I have to take delivery on an ordered truck to qualify?

Williamson, still have the certificate? Want to sell it? I'd like to get the Interstate package, but just can't justify spending the big $$$'s that Ford wants for it.

Gordo and rest, I would be happy to give it away if I could find it, I am still looking. Actually, I had two of them. I printed one from Ford's website (it is no longer there) and was mailed one from a local Ford dealer. I will continue to look as I won't believe I would just throw away a freebie, but the offer specifically stated that no x-plan or others could be used in conjunction with this offer. You had to buy a vehicle between say May and August and send in the offer by late September, if I remember correctly. I'll let you know!

OK guys I found it! The details are: must buy a F150 between 6/21/04 and 9/30/04. May not be combined with any other private offer. A,X,Z and D plans are not eligible. I tried to get my dealer to apply it anyway but he wouldn't/couldn't. It does have my name and address printed on the front, along with a certificate number. The one I printed off the Ford website did not have this information on it. The offer is good for a free $250 certificate to either Cabelas, Milwaukee Tools (boy, I wanted those tools!) or Omaha steaks, and in addition to that, a free interstate rail package. I put a pic in my gallery!

Can you do a High res scan and put on the net? I will gladly host the file on my website if you can pull it off. If the scan of the Internet printout is clear Ford couldn't tell the difference.

Let me know. Pretty excited.

Thanks
