I'm trying to remove the steering wheel from my 97 Exporer but it won't come off. I removed the airbag, unscrewed the center torx bolt, stuck my puller on and broke the puller. So I got another one and it won't move it either, I can see the puller bolts bending as I try to unscrew the wheel. Anyone got any tips or tricks to try ??
What grade bolts are you using to to thread into the steering wheel? I wouldn't use anything less than a grade 5. Cheap pullers and Home Depot hardware is grade 3.
