Vacuum advance adjustment
Can anyone tell me how much advance the vacuum advance can should provide? What is a good method to adjust and test it? My base timing is set at 12 BTDC as specified by the emmissions sticker. At about half throttle it does okay but when it really starts to pull, it pops out the tailpipe a bit. I disconnected the vacuum advance and it happened a lot less.
