My computer room is 30x90 and has 20 or so computers, plotters, and printers. Mostly Sun Workstations but a few PCs, too. At home, I have a Gateway laptop on my kitchen counter but I rarely use that for surfing the web.
I have a 12 x 15 room upstairs, with 3 desks, 5 computers, 4 printers, 1 scanner, 1 VHS tv combo, 3 file cabinets, 2 tables and a couple of bookcases. It is used constantly as an office, and looks like it should. There are also Fax machine, and two phones, 2 web cams and a security camera hub system.

My Comprewter, oddly enough, is in the kitchen. So, yes, I am standing up...
We spend a lot of time in the kitchen (it is a very big kitchen) and my wife thought that if I was going to be on the computer so much I might as well be with the rest of the family. Now the kids can use it and I can supervise while doing other things and not running downstairs all the time...
It used to be in the finished basement downstairs but her request and my fear of an errant ball being thrown into it, caused me to move it upstairs.
It's pretty cool, thogh. My kitchen is centrally located in the house so I am able to do a lot of different things while I wait for my horribly slow dial-up conection (it's all that's available here besides $100+ a month satellite) to download stuff.
We have a diesel Mercedes and my wife doesn't like the smell of starting it in the garage so it sits in the carport outside. bronco and p-ups wont fit unless I fold in the mirrors. I have a detached shop so the garage has been converted into "dads room" with phone, tv, computer, fax, old toys, carpet on the floor, my junk and some furniture. The best thing is that when the kids/wife are driving me nuts I can lock the door to the house.
