If i were to purchase a 351 for my 90 f150, would it have to be out of the same year or will the injetors, wiring, etc. off my 302 work with any 351 block?

Or would it be better to overhaul my 302?

Or, is it possible to put a regular old carburated rather than efi 351 under the hood?
