Tires...
I know the sticky topic and its four pages probably covers this to death but I'm still unsure.
I have a stock '01 F150 4x4 XLT 5.4 V8 w/ the offroad package, I'm sick to death of the tires that came with this thing I think they are the GY Wrangler RT's. Not sure if I have 16 or 17 In Rims.
I'm thinking about going for Michelin LTX M/S or Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo and I was thinking 265/75/17 but i gather i can go to a 285/75/17.
Any comments on the tires, handling, appearance, etc.. before I go drop some cash?
One of the wesites that is linked in the stick gave me a stat that if I went to a 265 and I was doing 60 on the speedo I would actaully be doing 67 ish. Is there a way to fix that?
