Is that really original?? It must be from a big truck, right? It has guages in place of the idiot lights, a tach in place of the left star pattern, and another guage that I can't quite make out on the right.
That would be one cool accessory for my truck ... if my distributor had a tach drive. @__@
I don't have access to e-bay at work, but from others I have seen, that panel sounds like a truck panel. The guage on the right would be a vacuum guage to monitor the power brakes.
Yep, big truck cluster.Generally f-750+ could also be found in C series trucks up into the 70's I believe if its the same cluster. I know of several companies that could convert the guages to electric. Just a thought, -4speed
Here's a picture of our '69 F-750. I took it more for the dash pad which may fit the 57-60 trucks.Guages. It has the Tach on the right and the air pressure guage for the air brakes. The tach is mechanical.
Right ... but how would you get a 223 I6 to run a tach? Would it be possible to make your own tach drive? Or is there somewhere you can buy a new distributor with a tach drive?
