Any experience with Weld?

I ordered a wheel/tire combo from Desert Rat and it is going to take Weld over a month to get the wheels to me! Apparently the ones they ordered turned out to be mismatched so they called Weld to order new ones. I even settled for a different style and they said that it would take a month no matter what style I ordered. They're for a 96' Bronco. I don't know how they stay in business. Any other experiences with them?

I ordered 15x10 Typhoons with 35x12.5 BFG's. Now I have to mount the 35's on my stock 15x8 ford wheels until the Weld Wheels get here. What a pain...

Apparently Superlift isn't much better. They backordered the rear blocks for my lift kit. Thankfully Desert Rat is letting me have a set of Fabtech blocks and throwing in the u-bolts. I didn't realize it was such a pain to get parts for lifting a vehicle.

maybe its the place your getting them from. when i went to off road warehouse they had a bunch of the more popular stuff and it didnt take too long for ordered products. and 4wheel direct was pretty fast too.

I have run Weld wheels for 12 years on my drag cars. I have never had any trouble with the wheels. I think they will be worth the wait.

Cool, I hear great things about Weld. I definetly want forged wheels instead of cast and I like the style that I ordered. I guess the problem is they are trying to push their newer styles and stop making the older styles unless ordered. I just think a month is a little long. I was told the same thing at Discount Tire.
