I don't know if you have seen my gallery, my ? is are you still using your brake booster and what steering sector you used. The reason I ask is that you are the one that put me onto the upright headers. With my booster and steering shaft it does not look like I got the room. I am running a 400, auto., using the steering sector that came with the 77 f150 and the shaft. I like the way you set your truck up, sweet ride.
No I am not using the power brake booster, I wouldn't have the room with as close as I mounted the body to the engine, but I have found that I don't miss power brakes, plus with my cam Iwouldn't be able to run power brakes anyway. Iused the power steering sector that was in the 77 f150 (but converted it to use as a manual box, but that wouldn't matter for room, I just didn't want the drag on the engine), I used the ranger steering column shaft but moved it about 2" down, and left where it goes through the firewall, and the intermediate shaft from my 86, mainly because the one from the 77 was trashed, had to shorten the ranger column a couple of inches, and drill a new hole for hte lock bolt but wasn't that difficult.
the main thing I would do different is try, and find a master cyl that had the lines exit on the drivers side, but I already had that one.
here is a pic and hope it answers some of your question will try, and answer anymore you have.
One other note if you haven't bought the headers yet the place I bought mine also makes headers that go forward before they exit up to make more clearance for brakes
