I placed this request for info on another forum but there doesn't seem to be much traffic on the site so I'll try here.
Can I assume that the Dashpot is not necessary if you are running a manual choke set-up? Is the Throttle Solenoid necessary if you don't have air conditioning? I'm trying to eliminate as much as possible but retain emissions parts. The previous owner really screwed up the vacuum lines.
Does the ported vacuum switch have a dedicated source port or does it matter? Does the switch source come from above or below the throttle plate?
These questions may sound a little simple to many of you but I have to learn some way. Any help in these areas will be gladly recieved.
