idle problems 302 bronco
I have a 89 bronco with a 302, When I first start it in the morning it jumps up on high idle, like it suppose to and then suddenly drops off and almost dies then comes back up and idles fine. any ideas...Dan

start with cleaning iac and throttle body
you can also replace the tps but it is around $30
the fuel filter is another thing you might want to replace
when was the last tune up ( all ...plugs, wires, rotor, cap)?
other stuff you can do is check fuel pressure and timing
pulling codes is good idea before you start replaceing egr and so on
these are the normal fixes good idea to do these even if there is no problem
