Question power lock ghosts

my '97 has power locking doors that seem to be haunted, i have taken off the door panels and wiggled the wire harness and cleaned the switches but they still like to open and close on thier own. this happens when the engine is running or not and it happens every few minutes. any suggestions?

hang a cross from ur mirror and then take out one switch see if it still happens if it does switch and put that one back in and take the other one out to see if one is causing the problem

There has to be a simple explanation. You need a wiring diagram of the truck.

i dont think it would be the actuators they just respond to the electricity (if it wasnt there then they wouldnt respond) i agree about a wiring diagram it should show the position (or atleast which wires to follow) of the relays and keep an eye out for damaged wiring while ur doing this it could be a short
-i would personally start at the switches though
