Engine Swap in 1962 F100 4x4

I recently purchased a 1960 F250 Body and am mounting it onto a 1962 F100 4x4 chassis. I plan on installing a 76 390 with New Process 4-Speed Standard Tranny. Is this a fairly easy swap? The cab mounts and the bed mounts are a little different, but, they look like they are easy to relocate without much trouble. In regards to the motor mounts, is that a good engine year to swap? I am basically looking for the easiest swap, without sacraficing power. A 460 would work evidently, but, I found a good price on the 390. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Pretty much a bolt in. Use an FT bellhousing, which will allow you to use your stock clutch linkage, and rear motor mount location. Then you'll need a front engine mount crossmember, which lots of people sell. You will have to measure the distance between the crossmember you buy, and your frame rails. I had to notch my frame rails a little, apparently the 4x4 frames are built a little heavier than a 2wd model. Hope this helps, Al

Thanks Al. I bought one from Transdapt, which made me go through a local distributor. Should have it soon. Thanks.
