Fuel Tank Replacement
I have been looking all over for a 1972 ford f100 fuel tank. My pick up tube rusted and it is welded in the tank.I really don't want to go through the work of filling the tank with water so, I can cut out the pickup tube. If some one know where I can buy a new replacement. I can only find early models and later model tanks. It seems they forgot about the 67-72 range.I also read about lawsuits from fire and behind the seat fuel tanks. Any info would be helpful.

You must be looking for tanks at the Pick n Pull boneyards. They always pop holes in tanks and diff covers and sometimes even the pumpkins to drain the fluids. You have to find a boneyard (usually not self service) that actually siphons out the gas.
