Can I do both ? Will there be any gains by adding the 10k mod on top of the superchips tuner? Oh yeah I shimmed the fpr that seamed to do alittle! I will wait to do the 10k mod until I get my gauges installed ! Want to put the 10 k on a switch is this doable ?

You definately can do it. How much difference it makes will depend on what setting the tuner is in. It will make the bottom end stronger in all settings, but might cost you a bit of power at the top end of the highest setting.
I just returned from towwing a 34' RV from Indiana to WaState. I had a 1705 tuned to TowSafe and a variant of the 10k mod (I use a switched 10k linear potentiometer with a 4.7k resistor in series) turned on 50%. At lower elevations and minor grades, everything performed well. When I started pulling harder grades, the turbo started oscillating and the engine would cut out momentarily; I shut off the 10k mod & everything returned to normal. If I'd had the control in-cab, I would've played with the level...
