I did some research of course before i posted and well i couldnt really find anythihng i needed. To give some info im running a 350 SRW 4x4. Its got the 4inch block in the back so i added a Pro Comp leveling kit to the front to level it out. It now has pleanty of lift to put some nice tires on but here is not problom if well you can call it that. I have the King Ranch Model and well it has the special rims. I am looking for some new tires and i dont want to replace these rims i would think of it as a crime. I am trying to find the biggest tires that i can put on these rims as well as peoples opinions on brands models ex.. and the real reason i am concerned is that its a 350 and i want to stay with a strong tire something with a capacity over 3200lbs if possible and well a load range E for the extra ply of the tires. If i am dreaming then let me know if anyone has any insight on what they are using. Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to make sure you had the info. Thanks in advanced.
285/75/16 will fit on your rims. That is what I put on mine. The problem is, the tire will not be flat if you go bigger. The rims will pull the side walls in and the tred bends or rounds off. I went with the pro-comp AT's I will NOT get them again! I will replace these with the MT MTX. The last set of MT's made it 40K miles are quiet enough and look good. Plus at $125 each compaired to the pro comps $160 ea.
I completely agree on the pro comps the super duty will wear them out with the quickness, I am running some toyo 285/75/16 open country and I like them so far ,there are not any tires that I am aware of that are tall and e rated except super swampers, and they dont ride to well
Those Toyo Open Country tries are really nice looking. The website didnt have the specs for the 285's but from the look of everything else its a heavy duty tire with the ratings well over 3100. I am doing some more research to find out the specs on the 285's. The 315's I think would be to big as a next size up. Thanks for the info on the Toyo's. How do they ride on the highway? Control and response and all. I do 40 Miles each way to work everyday. Lots of highway, so i need somthing that can also do good on there. Thanks for the info...
WOLFEE
they ride and handle great, and the max load is 3305 single and looked at my other truck with e rated tires they are 3415 so not much difference, the toyos are much smoother then i expected, and are wearing great tow every day.
