hello ford faimly i want to put a cab off a 72 f350 dully on a 77 f250 four wheel drive done put 72 xlt bed on just wondering if it is any difference in 350 cab and the f100 and f250 thanks
olbud,
the cabs should be the same, the only problem you may incurr is the mount up going from a 72 to a 77 due to the different genereations. im in the process of taking the cab from a 70 f11 and movung it and bed to a 71 f250 4x4. i am by no means an expert, just thought id throw out what ive been seeing so far
nathan
Im not positive but I do believe the frame is wider on the 77 than that of the 72. meaning your mounting points will be located in diiferent areas. At least I know I have a 73 f-100 and the frame on that is wider than my 71 f-100, not for sure with the f-250s.
thanks i have made the swap the frame is the same under the cab except the two back holes the front two holes on the bed lined up had to drill the other four what surprised me was i didnt have to cut the frame
