Starting & Idling Problem.
Hi folks I'm a newbie, but I got here as quick as I could. I just purchased a 1990 F350 4x4 srw with a 5.8 EFI. The problem is, it doesn't want to start without a small shot of starting fluid. After it starts, it idles very high and doesn't want to idle down. Blipping the accelerator linkage doesn't do anything except make it idle higher, then come back down to where it was when it first started. Do you have any ideas? Also what is a 39 axle? Thanks in advance.
