Truck that you wish you still owned?

My '93 Ranger Splash. Man I cried when I had to sell it. The clutch blew the day after I had fixed the water pump, so I had no more money to dump into a pefectly good truck with 150,000 miles... I ended up buying a '97 Splash that's literally 1/2 the truck. 4banger, automatic, no a/c. everything that matters. I hated that Victory red paint, though. I had to power buff the thing so many times to keep it from turning white from oxidation that the paint was worn through at the corners of the hood. But other than that, it was exactly what I'd dreamed of in a truck since I was 16.

That was my first truck (damn lucky guy, huh?) Full fiberglass cab, tilt clip, and bed. 390GT v8, C6 with a shift kit. Originally had 39" tires, but dumped down to 35" to be legal (Even then I had to get a smaller lift....and I was still illegal, but passed). 4.10s posi both ends, White Cadillac bench seat, and some more stuff. It was way too costly to own, but damn was it fun while I had it.

Ah yes, such memories of the 88 F250. This was my daily/plow truck. Had 300 6, 5 speed, beefy front and rear bumpers that stuck out 8", homemade aluminum headache rack, 35" Buckshots on aluminum 3 blade Progressive rims, 7.5' Meyer plow, and of course the 4 bulb rotating beacon bar. Burnt a valve and never ran right after putting on new head. Sold it for half of what was worth. Next day bought my '76 playtoy. I saw the 88 a few months later and guy did a few mods that totally ruined the look of the truck. If i didn't have engine probs ,i'd still have today.

1979 Ford Courier = a little 4 banger & a big POS, but one of the best Ford's I've owned.
1977 Chevy Deluxe 1/2 ton = A real good truck, body was crap but the 454 that had taken residence under the hood would burn the tires in & out of the gas stations, wasn't able to pass many of them but I had the power to burn them tires.

Please don't laugh, but I miss my 1990 Chevy C1500. It was an extended cab short bed, 4.3 liter V6, 5 speed manual transmission, bought it with 214,000 miles on it. Engine would RUN! The tranny blew out on me at 217,000 due to two of the truck's three drivers' (myself and the previous owner's kid) raggin on it. I learned how to shift clutchless on it, double-clutch, and the other kid just ran the hell out of that truck. Bought it for $300 dollars with an almost brand new Rhino lining on the bed, got $1800 for it and that was with a blown tranny. That engine still had plenty of life in it.
I miss driving a manual.

I wish I had my 84 F-150 back. It was a reg. cab 4wd with a stepside bed that had a real oak floor with a 300 I-6 auto. It was my truck in high school and dad and I had restored it after graduation, it originally had a reg shortbed but we found the stepside and did it that way instead. We never could agree on a color so we matched paint to our Ford emblem on the front. Some called it Smurf Blue but everyone knew it was Ford Blue. We eventually had the truck back to looking like it had just rolled out of the plant, mechanically the truck had 250,000 miles on it and we did everything we could do to it to make it new again but there's alway something youjust can't get done. We sold it last year and it's been across this great country twice and back. I have thought about buying it back but I think I would have as much fun building another like it or better. The ideal plan would be the same body on an 04 frame with a 5.4 under the hood, then I'd call it the clone.
