Oil pressure problems.
I have a 1985 F-150 with a 5.0L FI (code N).
When my engine is started, the oil pressure is nominal. (About M of NORMAL)
When the engine warms up, the pressure drops to LOW, as long as the engine is at idle.
As long as the engine is revved, the oil pressure remains within the NORMAL band.
I have changed the oil out and that only had a minimal effect on the pressure problem.
I am thinking that the oil pump may be to blame.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
