H-pipe worth it?

I've had true duals on my truck for a few years now, but never had a crossover installed. Would it be worth the money to get one welded in?

My truck is a 87 5.0 EFI w/ Dynomax ceramic headers, hi-flow cats and Flowmaster 40 deltaflows.

dude, true duals isnt true duals with out a cross over. And dont get an h-pipe. Go with an x-pipe. Flows so much better, just look at the too and you can see why. I made an x-pipe not to long ago, look in my gallery.

Its basically mandatory to have a crossover when having duals cuz other whys each exhaust is only breathing on 4 cylinders, were as with a cross over each tail pipe is breathing with all 8. Get a better sound too.

DO IT, ITS LIKE A GOLDEN RULE WHEN IT COMES TO DUAL EXHAUST

BTW how do those deltas sound? Im getting two and putting true duals on my moms 95 5.8 bronco. I went with the deltas just for the lower interior noise. Do they still sound powerfull and deep?

I have a SI/DO 40 series delta flow exiting before the rear wheel. I love the sound inside and out.

I dont really have the room for an x-pipe. I just want to do something simple cuz I've been reading what your saying about the sound of the exhaust being split, and i've read that equalizing the exhaust is suppose to add a bit of the low end torque that you lose with going true duals.

The deltas sound awesome IMO. Still deep and throaty, but they arent really really loud. I still turn a lot of heads tho. I like the looks on peoples faces when they hear this coming out of an old truck

Hi Steve,

Another advantage of a crossover is that you get more low end torque, plus a better more even sound.
