I am not sure if I can post this here but I have a 94 Ford explorer with 90k miles on it. Runs good, just done a complete tune up, Plugs, wires, oil and filter, drained a gallon of transmission fluid out and re-filled it. New breaks on the front new fuel filter and fuel pump. The only down side is a limb fill on it when my X-wife had it and dented the top and cracked the winshield. Can any one give me a suggested price on what it is worth. It has a small problem that when it gets warmed up it wants to just fall on its face and wont go over 2500 rpms. I am ready to sale it but dont know how much to ask. It is 2 wheel drive and has a 4.0 L. V-6. and the interior in in great condition.
Well bud, It sounds like you've got a $500 student vehicle there.
It's 10 years old, Gone over good but it will never run like new.
Depending on whether the dent in the cab is more cosmetic then structural, you costs can vary. Sonds like your EGR is clogged and needs serviced.
If your wanting to get rid of it, advertise it for $800 and let em talk you down.
I dont have any pics to it. To say it is worth 500 bucks really hurts! I just got done replacing the ignition switch and the starter coil and am going to take it to the shop that I know to get a reader put on it and check all the sensors. I am also thinking about replacing the catalic converter. It is only 59 dbucks to do it my self. It runs great when it is cold but when it warms up it dont like to go over 2000 rpms.
