turbo died
at 95,000 my turbo died. 3rd guear ta 45mph motor shut off. would not restart. dealer said turbo oil seals blown ,other than that turbo ok. dealer said eng.shut off due to low oil pressure. new turbo installed . called dealer, ask why is truck using oil now?after turbo change it is using 1gallon every 50 miles.no leaks found ,smokes at start up only.any ideas?

disconnect the down pipe and run your finger in it. If it is wet with oil they did not change your turbo out right and you are filling your exhaust and muffler full of oil, need I tell you about all those problems it could cause. But I you are not burning oil nor are you dripping oil, but it is consuming alot. That is where I would look first.
