Need some help..vacuum line?

I have a 95 efi 4.9. I am in the process of replacing the header/intake gasket. I marked all the lines, then once it was all apart I noticed, the big black vacuum line goes nowhere or at least I did not mark it. Any thoughts, I believe one end attaches to the egr solenoid or valve, I need to know where it originates, my guess would be the vacuum canister but I don't see a place for it in any of the hoses off the vacuum canister. Its the large vacuum line, there is only one large vacuum line.

thanks

Nope...under the upper intake there are three hard lines wrapped together that run parallel to the fuel rail then across the back of the valve cover to the drivers side: one small black and a small green one go to solenoids, and the large black one, apparently just takes up space, as I cannot see any place for it. Weird.

Sorry. I didn't read the "95 thing. I don't know much about the efi motors. Do you have any access to a shop manual that tells vacuum hose routing?

No, it would be nice if I did, though.

Does this truck have a vapor canister? They have a large hose that runs to the intake area...the vacuum pulls the vapors.

Nope..not that one either.

The vacuum line I am talking about does resemble the vacuum hardline that comes off the vapor canister though. thanks though
