I have a 1998 f150. I recently bought a fibrobec fiberglass cap and I was wandering how to wire the inside lite and brake light without tampering too much with the trucks wiring. Does anybody know how to wire this?

On my work truck, we tapped into the rear brake lights. Thre wires, one for the common, one for the brake signal and the other for park lights for the interior lights. The only disadvantage was the interior light had to be on a switch and the park lights had to be on. Advantage- the wiring was short and simple and only required removing one tail light.
