Can someone tell me the Hp, Tq, and what gear ratio that we have in our Explorer sport it's 4wd, with towing package,Sohc 4.0, automatic?
My wife wrecked our other car so I let her pick out her new one, I think she did real good. I like the truck alot. I thank you for any help you can give.

HP should be 210. Torque 240 axle gearing 3.73 or 4.10 probably 4.10.

I thought the horse was 205 on the SOHC 4.0?

1997 SOHC HP=205, Torque=250 ft/lb
1998-00 SOHC HP=210, Torque=240 ft/lb
