Are you talking about a factory turbo? If so ATS makes a whole kit to make it go.

ATS has a kit that changes the turbo outlet from 2.25" to 3" and also have a 3" downpipe to replace the 2.25" that Ford used.

They also can fix you up with the rest of the exhaust system that is all mandrel bent tubing.

It works out to about 179% increase in the exhaust flow.

The Ford turbo is a re engineered ATS turbo, and the system engineering should have been left alone.

Talk to the salesman on the exhaust.
You need the turbo outlet flange for the 3" turbo downpipe to fit.
It is a tight fit to get the 3" pipe installed.
I installed a two inch body lift on mine (86) and had lots of room, a one inch lift would probably been OK.
I would install a LUK clutch, that is what I am running and am well satisfied with it.
I got mine through Ford, there are cheaper places to get them though.
I work mine every day, quality and time is more important than cost to me.
