I have had a problem with the driver side heated seat with my S/D for a long time, under warrenty the dealer ship replaced the heating element but it didn't seem to fix the problem and by the time I figured out it wasn't really fixed the warrenty was long gone.
Anyway it does not heat up like it is suppose too, compared to the passenger side it doesn't heat up at all, The indicater light comes on at the switch but that is it, I tried swapping the control box with the passenger seat but no joy.
Any Suggestions would be great.
There really isnt a lot to them, controller, switch, wiring and heater pads. I guess you could inspect all the wiring to ensure there isnt a pinout at one of the connectors or a broken wire. Ive had very few failures to fix to have much of a history of common problems to offer. I did have one once that the light on the switch was working but no heat and one of the pins was backed out in the connector under the seat.

This weekend I did tear the seat apart and found the 2 wires going to the lower back area heter were broke off at the element it self, would this also cause the bottom seat heater not to work?
