White vacuum line fixed
I fixed the problem of the "A/C going to the defrost position when I accelerated". I searched the site for weeks and one thread had three of the same fixes for the same problem. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=256747
I rechecked my "white vacuum line inside the engine compartment" and mine was flaking and cracking. I used a 3/32" weed eater fuel line hose to it. I cut open the conduit and cut the vac line 3" inside the conduit. Twisted the new vac line over both ends and voila, instant fix.

Yes a very common problem on the earlier F series
