Battery

I put mine on the inside of the passenger frame rail behind the cab (battery that is). It is designed to put in and take out from under the bed. Mike

The tire is a big more difficult to deal with. If you relocate the fuel tank, you run into even more restrictions. You could always use a later model set up and mount it under the bed, much like new trucks do. You would just have to figure out how to get it all to work, but it wouldn't be too hard. Another option is a bed cover and stowing the tire in the bed, the cover would keep it hidden.

i'm thinking the adaption of mounting it under the bed is the best bet but as i wanna move the fuel tank -( i don't think a spare would fit where the fuel tank was but should check) i'm kinda stuck - not much room under the truck - to stick stuff love to see some pics if anybody has them

battery

If you go to www.y-blocksforever.com and then click on profiles, then the northwest section of the map, then click Mike Weaver, there is a pretty good picture of my battery mount.

i did an eye-crometer check today and it looks like i can fit a spare tyre (get me home only nothing fancy) where the fuel tank was - i'll do a bit more of a check in the weekend but if it fits most of my probs will be solved be able to hide heaps of stuff in there
