dust shields

i was thinking about putting on dust shields for my wheels ive heard that they are not good for the brakes because of heat build up. what does everybody else think

I heard the same the heat will ruin a set of rotors.

That is true and the best way to get less dust on your rims is find the right kind of brake pads. Poeple will say different about which brake pads. So, best is to do your own research to find the right one. Good luck!

I put the performance friction pads from Auto Zone on my crew cab and I had no dust! I don't remember the part # but it was the top one listed for the SD. Well worth it IMO.
