Cruise control

The cruise control in my 96 F-150 5 litre 4x4 just stopped working. It's not a fuse. Can anyone advise me of what else I should look for? Thanks people...

Look for a vacuum leak.

Does your horn work? Is the airbag light on the dash flashing too. If so, then the clock spring quite possibly the clock spring inside the steering column is busted.

Mine didnt work before I found a vacuum leak. Fixed the leak and it works fine now.

if the hoses are real soft they may just need replaced. just a suggestion. id look for the leak first.
