68 Window woes....

A few months back I bought a 68 F100 with a 360 and C6. Darn thing runs great. Replaced radiator and battery. Just got installed dual exaust!

Drivers side window is *****ed. Crank will only "catch" every once in a while.

My question is where is the best place for replacement parts and how hard would it be to convert it to power windows? Any good kits availible?

Also, see my other post about roof rust/cancer!

There are aftermarket regulators from some of the vendors that support this site. But if you are considering power, then I'd go that way with a universal kit because the stock replacements cost almost as much. I think some of the vendors also sell power systems. I think they are pretty straight forward. I plan on doing the same thing, but way down the road after everything else is done.

William,
EBay is a good source. They're are a couple available now. Just query "1967 ford truck." Or just head for your local wrecking yard and you should be able to pick them up. Power windows? Heresy.

www.lmctruck.com has windows at a decent price. Adding power to the windows is only $50.
