cylinder heads
I am looking at a pair of heads casting number E7TE. There are 3000 miles on the valve job and I can get them for under $200. Is this a good deal and are they anything special

They are probably the best factory casting you'll find for the small block ford, but they're nothin special for what you can get from the aftermarket. There's no point in buying them and than porting/polishing them, they'd cost as much as an aftermarket head and still flow less.
