I got an STX Super Cab, pretty standard with the 4.6L I traded in my 02 Xterra on it, they gave me full pay off on it. Sticker price on the STX was $26,807 and I got it for $24,205 (should have dickered more)...got 1.9% interest (didnt have zero on the 04's at the time) and my payment is $361...happy with that because my Xterra was over $400 a month and insurance didnt go up with the Ford.

I dont' want this to sound smart so don't take it that way but...
How does this help with anything? The payment is easy to calculate with any online calculator.
THe most important thing is the price of the truck, amount financed, credit rating, and Interest rate.
Asking someone's payment tells you basically nothing in relation to your own situation.
For example, my truck was $41600 and my payment is $560. It doesn't provide much information.

Gap insurance is if you total your vehicle and it is worth less than your loan amount it makes up the difference. By the way Gap insurance is cheaper through your insurance agent rather than a finance company. I am an insurance agent and it can be over $50.00 a year with a finance company and most insurance companies offer it for $10.00 to $15.00 a year.

Someone else mentioned gap was $10 - 15 per year through the insurance co!? Wish I had known that beforehand. I think I'm paying $3 a month. Not a big difference though.
