Lockers

Hey my 97 4x4 4.6L f150 has an open differentials. I want to put lockers on them. The Detroit E-Z Locker is cheap, all the websites say easy to install. Is this a good locker? Does anybody have one of these?

In 4hi or 4lo, are both my front wheels gettin power? I mean i see both of them spining in the mud. Would a locker on the front make a difference?

I've got the same question man, I was looking at E-Z lockers for front and rear, same truck too. I dont think all four wheels lock from the stock set up. That's the point of the lockers. Maybe some models had them? I dont know, but I've gotten stuck before with 2 wheels in the air and the other two, on the ground, didnt seem to be spinning at all. Another question if anyone can asnwer this, what are the drawbacks to lockers? Increased stress on tranny or anything?
