Why do you suppose !
why do you suppose that 4.10 gearing is not offered for all the configurations, or a locking differential, at least as options - like the other mfr's.
Ok, it cost a lot of $$$ to design, develop and bring the current truck to market, but ... .
The higher gearing and the locker would helped the F150 to probably win 4x4 of the year, Tow Vehicle of the Year and maybe more.
In all these "contests, it is consistently mentioned that the F150 had great interior room, exterior styling, quiet ride, heck it's not a luxury car or a limo.
If you've gotten this far, thanks for bearing with me. I guess that I'm just upset with myself for considering the Titan - since it has the e-locking diff., the higher gearing, ... . But I just can't get over that dog-a**-ugly look it has both front and side profiles.

My plan is to have a new 1/2 ton truck sitting in my drive way by no-later than mid September.
