Problem with ABS on 1995 Explorer.
I have a problem with the ABS on my explorer. The pump starts to work even when the wheels are not even close to locking up. Almost everytime you brake, it starts to push up on the pedal and make a clicking noise from the brake pedal area. You can hear the abs pump working. What could cause this? Anyone else have this problem?

Problem with ABS on 1995 Explorer.
I have a 96 Explorer and recently had the exact same thing happen. I pulled the fuse to the antilock system and that stopped the chattering, of course I no longer have antilock brakes but they seem to work just fine. The ABS light also remains lit to remind me the ABS is not functioning. I am also looking for the cause and all the parts stores are telling me they don't get involved in antilock parts and I must go to the dealer.
