I have a 2003 F150, I put serious satallite system in it and love it. What I don't like is the power cord the head unit showing. is there another way to get power to it other than thru the cigarette lighter?
Sorry to suggest sending you elsewhere, as this forum is always a big help, but since it is actually a Sirius question I'll simply give you a heads up to a message board specifically on topic. I removed the soft rubber oval pad on the top right side of the dash and ran a wire down and over to the fuse box. Then I removed(cut) the cigar plug off the Sirius harness and found the radio circut that is controlled by the ignition switch and connected there.
Good luck.
it's awesome, after having it a few months, I can't stand listening to the radio and all the freaking commercials! I took a long road trip a few weeks ago, it paid for itself!!!!
I have a freind who has XM, he is switching sirius because he likes it sooo much more.
